Immediate Opening for a Counselor
We currently have an opening in our Staunton, VA office and are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic licensed mental health counselor to join us. Our office is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in western Virginia. Have you ever had a longing to settle into a smaller community where you knew your life was making a significant impact?
If you’ve worked with a state agency, you know the constraints that limit you from incorporating the Christian faith. Also you might be want to focus on the ministry of provide counseling care and leave the billing, scheduling and myriad of practice responsibility to our admin staff. At VCFR, we provide the furnished office space and the administrative staff manages the scheduling, billing, insurance and admin responsibilities; and you are able to direct your energy to helping the hurting.
We are looking for a skilled and seasoned counselor that is energetic about counseling with a Christian faith integration. Counselor must be experienced and competent counseling with individuals & families; licensed in Virginia as a MFT, LPC, or LCSW. We serve a population that generally utilizes health insurance. Being a provider on insurance panels in Central Virginia is a great asset to getting a full caseload more quickly.
If needed, the position can start as a part-time position and grow into a full-time position. In addition to counseling, for the right person that is really interested, there is a path to a management position or practice partnership.
